In August 2021 we added sheep to our farm. With our upper pasture currently under-utilized, they were happy to have new grass to eat, and before we knew it, we had lambs arriving in February 2022. The final count was three ewes and three rams.
At this time, we do not have plans to raise registered sheep or sell breeding stock. Our current flock appears to be a mix of Fresian, Lincoln, and other wool and hair breeds. We retained our 2022 ewes for 2023 lambing. We look forward to selecting a wonderful ram to continue the dual-purpose nature of our flock for 2024.
We plan on processing lambs for July 2023 and October 2023 dates. Contact us to reserve yours!
